Just to let you all know we are in the final stages of organising our 14 Eid Prayers in the Park event in Sutton.

There is a lot going on behind the scenes, but there is still a lot to do.

We are looking for at least volunteers that can help on the actual Eid day, i.e. setting up the park at 7:30am, traffic control, helping with food, clearing up after the Eid.

Just to let you all know, it’s been confirmed straight from the Sheiks mouth: The moon has been sighted in Suadi and therefore Eid has been confirmed for tomorrow Monday 28th.

 

As a pre-cursor to our main celebration we will be having tea and biscuits in the Thomas Wall Centre tonight after Isha.

Just a quick reminder for tomorrow:

– Please arrive by 10.00am, we plan to do Eid salaat at 10.30am insha-allah
– Remember to bring your mats
– If you able, please bring some snacks, a dish of your cultural choice – we can all munch on this after the Eid salaat whilst we socialise at the end.

Lastly, please remember to have a good time. This event is for you AND your family. Bring them and enjoin in the goodness it brings.
